Another Infectious Collab from Australia. - Golden Vessel: so far (feat. FELIVAND)

This kind-hearted anthem to the first moments of love is a fitting musical companion for anyone whose heart is aflutter.

We've written about Golden Vessel before (here and here). Over the years he's become one of my favorite indie producers: along with a memorable vocal presence he has a great instinct for collaborations (much like another personal fave of mine, Donovan Woods).

Golden Vessel creates music that is fresh and deeply organic, while also fusing elements of electronic music and hip-hop into something creative and future-forward. Recent reference points would include artists like Toro Y Moi, Mount Kimbie and Four Tet.

On latest single "so far" he's back doing what he does best: mixing infectious melodies with spunky backbeats, and in this case, collaborating with Australian wunderkind Felicity Vanderveen (aka FELIVAND). This mellow, harmonium-driven slow burner soon segues into that signature groove, and glides over the listener in waves of hopeful conjecture. This kind-hearted anthem to the first moments of love is a fitting musical companion for anyone whose heart is aflutter. All we can do is our best to make it last.

what have you got
waiting for me back there?
is it the absence of
everything in my head?
and will the rain not fall
until the earth calls out to the cloud
will my mother call?
and i can tell her all that
i found
with you
we could try see what it comes to
with you
we could try see what it comes to
so far, so far
so far so far so far so far so far
so far so far so far so far so far
see what it comes to
with you
we could try see what it comes to
with you
we could try see what it comes to
