Singer and multi-instrumentalist Ebubé was once a classically-trained violinist who was preparing to study medicine, but fate would have it another way. During the pandemic he reconnected with the music of his youth, putting covers of popular R&B tracks on TikTok, both in France and at home in the UK, which eventually led to his deal as founding member of the Victoria Monet and Coco Jones co-signed group No Guidnce. Now, he is ready to take a step into the spotlight, alone, with a debut project that follows a tradition of timeless R&B, valuing love over toxicity, and connection over confrontation.

"Lay with Me" is a seductive slow jam, lifting up the vocal presence of Ebubé as both peacemaker and seducer, assembling a refined and layered backdrop of vocal whisper to serve as a bed for the lead melody. This is intimate music, that serves as a fitting anthem for the time-honored process of moving the action into the bedroom.
