The Keymakers are the duo musical project of two brothers, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, who now live together in Boston. Rome Alexander, a singer and songwriter, started his musical journey back in 2010 with a debut solo release, and as a writer for other up-and-coming artists. Rederic started his work in music by learning piano, guitar, and drums. In high school, he discovered the world of electronic music production, and has been developing his skills and sound ever since.

As a duo, The Keymakers released their debut single in September of last year to considerable success. Under the direction of Jesse Christophr and the AMAG artist collective, founded and headed by industry leader Anshuman "AM" Sharma, they continue to develop both as artists and writer-producers. "Hold" is an endearing and hopeful track about the universal need for connection, and the importance of finding the good in each other. With a combination of electro pop hooks and a driving 4-on-the-floor dance beat, "Hold" explores a welcome sense of positivity, and delivers a message we desperately need right now: we will make it through this, and we will make it together.
