The Compensators - Love Drags

This review was originally published in May of 2018.

With a classic British revival rock sound and a nice guitar riff, this one feels like a straight head-banger. They threw some fuzzy combo organ over the top but kept it very close to a Clash-style production with all guitars and attitude.

It's a perfect punk-pop track: all feels and grunge and head-banging. You could start a fight with this energy.

The Compensators is a new 4-piece band from singer-songwriter and guitarist Curtis Strange with bandmates Chaz Mitchells, Stevie Blunder, and Kip Wicked.
