As they gear up for a huge 2020, Sea Girls unleash their dynamic new anthem "Ready For More," taken from their forthcoming EP "Under Exit Lights" which comes out March 6th on Polydor in limited edition 12’’ vinyl, CD, and on your favorite streaming platform ( linked here). With this track, Sea Girls aim to solidify their status as singalong torch-bearers for a whole new generation of discerning indie rock fans.

A bit like UK contemporaries Circa Waves, Sea Girls have found a sweet spot combining infectious pop melody with unabashed rock mojo and an unforgettable live show. "Ready For More" boasts a warm croon from lead singer Henry Camamile, while also exploring the dark abyss of behavioral nihilism through the lens of romantic attachment. Sea Girls recently signed a major record deal with Polydor, and have enjoyed heavy support from Radio 1. In March the new EP drops, and in April they will play their biggest UK tour yet. Having taken their name from the mistaken recollection of a Nick Cave lyric, Henry finds much of his lyrical inspiration in the hard-living and late nights that are implicit in the life of a young rock star. He is always ready to make art from the remnants of a beautiful mistake, or a cathartic hangover. The high-energy sound of Sea Girls approximates that party lifestyle - big drums, hazy memories, and the feeling of wind in your hair. As one of the UK’s most exciting new bands, Sea Girls are gearing up for their biggest year yet. "Ready For More" is a direct inspiration for anyone caught in the messy turbulence of a fast life, with a simple message: life is short, so have fun.

In the blink of an eye
It all just slips away
'Cause I heard you moved on
And I'm in the same place

Sea Girls are: Henry Camamile (vocals/guitar), Rory Young (guitar), Andrew Dawson (bass), and Oli Khan (drums). This song is featured on our Roots Collection playlist.
