The National Parks released their new single “UFO” last Friday along with the announcement for their album, "A Mix For The End Of The World – Part 1," which is out today. This Provo, UT-based quartet is in fine form with a delicious collection of folk-inspired songs that mixes a lead vocal duet with a gorgeous production touch courtesy of June Audio and Scott Wiley. Treading that line between Americana and modern sensibilities, The National Parks achieve their signature style of blissful pop with cinematic electronics, organic orchestration, and a whole lot of heart from Brady Parks’ deep and emotive style of songwriting.

See below for tour dates as the band starts out tomorrow night at the Superbloom Music Festival to make their way across the country. Since emerging in 2013 with introductory album "Young," The National Parks have quietly grown into an independent phenomenon by racking up over 150 million total streams, selling out headline shows across the country, and touring with national acts like Andy Grammer, Peter Bjorn and John, and WILD.

As I've been listening to the preview version of this beautifully constructed album, I am comforted by the continued presence of bands like The National Parks to deliver a collection of songs that lives and breathes as a mirror of the present day. With broad strokes of escapism and misty-eyed nostalgia, "A Mix For The End Of The World – Part 1" lives up to his its name as both an excuse to check out from the low industrial hum of everyday life and a reason to keep pushing for a future we can be proud of.

Tickets are still on sale for the SuperBloom festival. Do yourself a favor and get your music fix tomorrow from one of the most exciting new Folk Pop acts to hit the national scene in recent years.

I look at you and see the world's a blur
Out the window as we drive
Through ash and smoke, I won't let go
I'm by your side, my ride, or die
So hold me close, let's drive away to some place far
And dance real slow in the headlight shine of our car
And never mind tomorrow, could we just stay
And lay right where we are?
Just for one night, it's like the world's not falling apart
I wanna live this life
So let's more than just survive
