This one touches on that whispered world between love and friendship, with a hint of pain in the lead vocal, and a beautifully-delivered duet. Written in part as a healing process in and of itself, this song has the personal stake and the artistic commitment to tell it like it is.

It’s complicated, it’s codependent: it’s life, and there is that mild hangover, the lesson with punishment attached, inherent in the droned root and complement, segueing into half-bar changes that feel rushed, and thus vital. It’s a meditation on human connection, and the road there that lies untravelled.
