NYC-based producer, media artist, and composer Luc Bokor-Smith has created a new project named Parlour Magic. "Phantom West" is the first single, taken from the debut album "The Fluid Neon Origami Trick." This futuristic electronic groove uses exclusively analog synths and was recorded last year in Las Vegas.

With meticulous attention to detail, "Phantom West" presents an extension of modern synthpop, complete with big melodic hooks, slick layers of autotune, and a killer bass line. As Bokor-Smith explores the power of dance-inspired fantasy, we discover a mythical place of spiritual restoration that exists only in our minds. Mixing elements of personal confession, social alienation, and urban voodoo, Parlour Magic presents a fully-formed catharsis of creative expression and sonic mastery.

I know that it’s out there
I hope that it’s mine
And I know that it’s been awful for some time
I know that it’s broken
Can’t speak to what’s inside
Tell me I’m the right one for your mind
