It's not easy to make a slow groove shine. There is so much empty space, so much temptation for over-production. But not here; the mastery of understatement, the commitment to imagistic consistency, it all makes perfect sense to these "boys being dudes" from Miami. Ghost of Milo Booth is a downtempo gem, a found inspiration, and a little bit like finding a forgotten masterpiece in the corner of an old museum.

That tremolo is working as a microcosm for the song itself, creating mellifluous ripples marching out from the center of the mix. This is a riveting commentary on co-dependency wrapped in a slick bubble of digital effects.
