The last decade found Nick crafting a sound that is both intimate and universally appealing—a sound that continues to evolve and connect with audiences around the world. Since getting started on his musical journey in 2014, Nick can proudly draw attention to syncs of his original songs for international TV shows as well as radio adds from the likes of BBC Radio1 (UK), Sirius XM (US), Pop 40 Asia, KIIS FM, Nova and the Hit Network (AU).

A multi-finalist at the 2021 International Songwriting Competition, Nick's music draws from a love of hip hop, pop and R&B to deliver a musical experience that is both introspective and infectiously upbeat. His stylistic signature oscillates between moody, textured R&B, and anthemic, synth laden future-pop. Nick and his long-time producer/collaborator/older brother Joseph (ZUZU) de la Hoyde deliver consistent pop fire while overcoming life and artistic challenges along the path. "Close To U" explores the quintessential longing for something you have been working hard on—honoring the countless hours of blood, sweat and tears that inevitably come with 'getting the dream.'
