Earlier this year, London-based singer, songwriter, and musician Lola Lennox released the accompanying music video for her single “Back At Wrong,” after a captivating performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show (NBC). Directed by Alexis Gudino (Jennifer Lopez), this mesmerizing video documents the intimate story of a couple’s life together at home, and charts the rollercoaster of emotions that they are forced to navigate in their stubborn pursuit of love.

“Back At Wrong” – which was produced by Dan Muckala (Echosmith, Teisto) with additional production by Annie Lennox and Braeden Wright – is Lola’s first official single release in the UK. With support from Radio 2, this promising debut from Lennox charted in the UK top 25, and has been featured on editorial playlists from Spotify, Apple Music, and many others. Drawing on Lola’s own experience with a toxic relationship, “Back At Wrong” delivers a raw and intimate take on the ecstatic highs and heart-wrenching lows that can accompany young love.

With touches of a twisted retro fantasy - I’m a huge fan of David Lynch and Alfred Hitchcock - we see into a domesticated nightmare. The song itself is raucous and high energy, and the video matches its vivacious nature with quick-changing flashes of imagery to reveal the dysfunctional story of the couple. — Lola Lennox

The release of “Back At Wrong” follows Lola’s much-talked-about duet performance with her mother, Annie Lennox, of “There Must Be An Angel” for Global Citizen One World: Together At Home.
