Julez - New Connection

The guitar is suitably blaring, the reverb extra springy, its midnight at the Fillmore and the year is 1976.

Something about that vocal attitude sounds like Grace Slick, and the classic rock-band sound adds to that throwback feeling. With subtle elements of psychedelic rock as well, Julez is able to sustain a thread of sophistication, and pulls us with it into each chorus.

The guitar is suitably blaring, the reverb extra springy, it's midnight at the Fillmore and it's 1976. It's a fast number with pitch-perfect drunk wisdom and a straight party vibe. Who brought the bourbon?
