We've written about Jesper a few times before, he's got a knack for writing rootsy pop with a laid-back production aesthetic that we really enjoy. He's back with a new single called "The Other Side" - technically, it's a remaster of a single from 2018, but we're just glad to hear his voice again.

Jesper Hasnaoui is an artist based out of Oslo, Norway, who turned to music as a therapeutic outlet for his creativity. His musical aesthetic mixes the spiritual component of folk melody and lyricism and weaves it into a story about daily life that anyone can relate to. "The Other Side" takes a heavy foot stomp and covers it with layers of vocal harmony, soft, fuzzy synths, and a gorgeous electric guitar performance. The result is a deep, mid-tempo burner that encourages us to keep moving forward with a curious heart.
