Isabella Rosetta is a singer-songwriter based in San Francisco, and her latest track "505" has totally blown me away: a smokey, mid-tempo burner with a sense of presence and timing that speaks to a bright future for this young, Albuquerque-born musical artist.

Drawing inspiration for her lyrics from the vast spaces of her previous haunts in Albuquerque, Boulder, and Mexico City, Isabella delivers—with the first song she's ever written—an emotionally precise performance. The guitar and the voice create a counterpoint together that is mesmerizing and laid-back. "505" finishes heavy with a nod to someone like Land of Talk, mixing a sense of danger and edginess with solid production quality and a beautiful vocal performance.

Isabella was born into a family with generations of musicianship. You could say the spirit of music is in her bones. "505" is now in regular rotation on our radio channel, and I am looking forward to hearing more solid tracks from this West Coast rock-and-roll sunrise.

Burnt out by this dying flame
I wonder who's to blame
