Jaron, also know as BoyCoy, brings his own vibe to the busy world of bedroom pop and alternative rap. Originally from Olympia, WA, BoyCoy now alternates between the restless energy of Los Angeles and the unplugged, creative sanctuary of Oregon's Rogue Valley. His music lays out a distinct, cinematic lane within the Avian Recording Co. roster.

BoyCoy's stylistic innovation is to leverage a moody sensibility against a backdrop of percussive elements, weaving emotional catharsis into the empty spaces built from solitude and natural chemistry. On latest release "Throw the Rest Away," he collaborates with his sister Carlene Crawford, exploring that liminal space at the end of a relationship. Here, the instinct is strong to push for a full reset, as we wrestle with the tradeoff between complicated accountability and simple freedom.
