Honey is wonderful. I actually love honey. Good for the mind and body, sweet to the taste.

Over the past 6 years daydream Masi has been steadily building a dedicated fanbase, beginning with the notoriety he earned in his Ohio hometown as songbird and musical pioneer. Recently, he dove in head first with the release of "Movie Scenes," a productive collaboration between the young artist and Twin Shadow in the mountains of California. Building on the success of lead single "Night Like This," Masi returns with a music video for "New Beginnings"—utilizing honey in all of its forms (color, texture, taste) in that a fresh start should be sweet. The video is directed by Kyle Jetter.

Coming from a skateboarding and music background, Jetter loves things to be a bit unconventional, with fast-paced cuts and a restless sense of movement that extends from the composition's enigmatic facade. Pulled from Masi’s forthcoming project out later this summer, "New Beginnings" explores lush and meaningful combinations of sounds as a metaphor for the choices we make in life, and the passion that Masi exudes through his connection with music. Born Raed Asi, daydream Masi embodies all that is both sweet and mysterious as his latest single further develops on a reputation for experimentation, thought-provoking lyrics, and that rare, authentic artistic persona that follows inspiration wherever it may lead.

Honey is wonderful. I actually love honey. Good for the mind and body, sweet to the taste. One who is full loathes honey from the comb, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet. — daydream Masi
