The interstellar vibe here is strong, with images of planets and orbits, spacecraft and dangerous black holes. It's a metaphor about life at 0 degrees Kelvin: the launch, the ride, the mishap, the recovery. You know, instant death when the airlock fails, that kind of thing.
And the sound is fittingly modern, textured, and geometric, with a snappy mild-uptempo groove and plenty of ear candy. The vocal is super-dry, like space food, feeling almost crumbly in the ears. It's a unique entry in the collective memoirs of the Indie Rock genre: the references range from The Beatles, to Elliott Smith, to Radiohead.
