Blake Rose shares his innermost thoughts on new single, "Heavy Shit." The Aussie native brings a rejuvenating energy to this exploration of personal battles, and the conclusion that all we need to do is let go.

Following the successful release of his track "Lady", Rose lays out the struggles and inner demons he's become numb to on this new indie-pop gem, which mixes silky vocals with a funky guitar hook. This young talent has received notable attention from tastemakers and publications like Western Australian and a premiere on Zane Lowe's critically acclaimed Beats1 Show as #WorldFirst pick.

Rose came to prominence after busking in the streets of Perth in order to pay for a school program called World Challenge which would take him to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks. He then taught himself to produce tracks with Garageband, and eventually Pro Tools. On his latest track Heavy Shit, Blake Rose is ready to define his own sound, one energetic hook at a time.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Blake Rose has had a keen musical curiosity for as long as he can remember. This song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
