ASHRR - Sometimes

Its a chaotic song for a chaotic time; the video is half horror flick, and half biopic. In LA, only weird is normal.

For fans of The Talking Heads, not only does the mix have that David Byrne flavor, but there is an actual ventriloquist-dummy to give it that literal vibe. It's a long and cinematic entrance, and then the beat drops with the sound of a factory metronome. It only makes sense with an aura of social commentary:

“Sometimes you got to take it as it comes
Sometimes the fabric comes undone”— ASHRR

It's a chaotic song for a chaotic time; the video is half horror flick, and half biopic. In LA, only weird is normal.

Art-pop trio ASHRR consists of critically acclaimed artists Steven Davis, Josh Charles and Ethan Allen. They are based in Los Angeles, so not by coincidence, this song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
