Anderson Rocio is an American/Spanish artist and songwriter from New Zealand who is currently based in Los Angeles, California. Just in time for the holiday season, she teams up once again with Jack Robertson, with a vulnerable reimagining of “Lovesick (In December).” The original track debuted at #1 on the NZ iTunes Pop and All Genre Charts, and this stripped-down version brings a fresh layer of emotion to the story. With the focus on a gorgeous duet between Rocio and Robertson, the reclusive yet intimate narrative flourishes against a backdrop of holiday glitter. When the world buzzes with light and love, so too does the darkness shine.

This piano-driven version adds a warm, nostalgic glow to the bittersweet tale of unrequited love, lighting an important candle for those of us who struggle, during the holidays, to make sense of the world.

It's I who wait but the fires gone out again
December feels like it's the hardest time to end
Whoa, I admit I feel a little lovesick
But I still wish you all the best darling
