LC Huffman goes to school at Utah State University. He writes and performs his original music in the studio all on his own, with production help from friend Kirk Hacker.

Drawing influence from rootsy singer-songwriters like John Mayer, and Relient K, LC Huffman delivers a banjo-backed allegory about mistaking presentation for substance. Fool's Gold combines an effortless falsetto with some country flavor and a refreshing sense of authenticity, and benefits from Huffman's husky baritone, along with heartfelt observations about how we so often fall into the same patterns of self-sabotage. His brand of acoustic folk-pop takes inspiration from the great outdoors, and a general appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.

LC Huffman was born and raised in Kentucky. This song is featured on our CHILL NEW Songwriters playlist.
