Something about the voice here gives me Jackson Browne, that rustic sound of the desert Southwest, coupled with a coastal urban thing from the shores of Massachusetts. It is wonderfully produced, with a beautiful small-body sound to the acoustic guitar, and a performance from the rhythm section and B3 that feels appropriate to the greats of this genre: Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell, or even Hayes Carll.

Lay Low Moon is a Folk-Americana band from Boston, MA. Be sure to catch them live at the legendary folk venue Club Passim in Cambridge, MA on August 26th.
