It's a bit like a slowed-down Tom Petty: a southern, gospel-inspired lyrical tone, and the warmest-sounding snare drum you ever heard. My ear goes right to the hints of JJ Cale, but that high-neck bass guitar riffing tells a classic story of southern rock.

From the hints of electric piano, the B3, it's a roots brew and a live electric band feeling. That sweet, easy blues groove paves the way for the long story, the full confession - the whole thing feels just right. The road is littered with revelations and little moments of light.
