Jared Lee is a singer, songwriter and Boston native currently based in Hollywood, California. Earlier this year he sang, co-wrote, and co-produced "Don't Wish Your Life Away," the theme song for SONY's blockbuster Fantasy Island which was directed by Jeff Wadlow and stars Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Michael Pena, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O Yang, Austin Stowell, Ryan Hansen, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Michael Rooker.

With a star-studded cast and an unforgettable soundtrack, it is no surprise that Fantasy Island was the 3rd top-grossing film in the world over last month's long Valentine's Day weekend. Jared's soulful vocal delivery and effortless falsetto lift have quickly amassed a long list of song placements across the landscape of film and television. Recently, he has been writing and producing for a diverse group of globally renowned artists such as Jason Derulo, Jordin Sparks, and TIESTO. His unmistakable talent for memorable pop hooks and laser-sharp production has made him a goto behind the studio glass, while his intimate and sonorous tenor has given him the opportunity to feature as a lead vocalist for original releases by top DJs like Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, and CLMD. Jared Lee's body of work has already earned well over 30 million streams to date, and his work on Fantasy Island should push that number up in short order. Beginning with a rhythmic hook on the acoustic guitar, "Don't Wish Your Life Away" quickly moves on to explore the complex world of personal identity, and the subtle forms of self-sabotage that so often masquerade as simple caution. Life is like an ocean - sometimes it feels good to just close your eyes and jump in.

There’s a fine line between what we want and what we need
There’s a fine line and it’s getting the best of me
Don’t wish your life away
Don’t live for yesterday
