Vocalist Beau Hirshfield is making a statement about the mundane, about the nature of the reality of living. It's a mutual acceptance of the absurd; a sort of pre-requisite for honest thought.
I hear a voice unafraid to keep it simple and straight to the point, and a band sound that just might be different enough to get HiRSH noticed in the crowded scene of Los Angeles. I get a deep feeling of personal solitude like Sigur Ros but a fine pop sense in the direction of Imagine Dragons. The art of it, and the inspiration, lie within the precision and timing of the finished product, the exquisite crescendo of an epic arrangement and a primal drum groove.
HIRSH is an indie alt pop band out of Los Angeles, CA. This song is currently featured on our CHILL NEW Songwriters playlist.
