Hailing from the small Irish town of Mullingar, Flynn moved to Bristol to study music, and struggled to make ends meet. Although he soon quit college, he challenged himself to make the most of the opportunities that were available to him: after a day spent busking, he would work his shift in a local restaurant before sleeping on a friend’s couch, while often traveling to London for writing sessions.

An early breakthrough for Flynn came when a song he entered in a contest back home in Ireland went viral, while his music first came to wider attention with the independent releases "Peace of Mind," "Red Light," and "My Gold." After racking up more than 40 million streams, and playing at the Tomorrowland and Parookaville music festivals, he now returns with fresh new solo track "One Of Us." This alt-pop anthem, beginning with a simple piano figure and a poignant vocal melody, moves quickly to the energy of high drama and personal revelation, as we celebrate the beautiful power of belonging to something - be it a family, a friendship, or a community. Flynn, recently signed to Jive Records / Sony, is ready to woo legions of new fans with his smooth, rapturous vocal tone and engaging performance. The "One Of Us" video was shot in Dublin, at various locations that range from the striking Poolbeg Lighthouse to grittier parts of the city. We find Flynn in his natural element - reconnecting with some old friends, and communicating in an honest and direct way about the insecurities that he has overcome. This uplifting song of personal redemption delivers big hooks and an overwhelming sense that friendship is the best medicine for a lonely heart.

"One Of Us" was produced by Toby Scott with additional production from Blair MacKichan - their credits include Cashmere Cat, Sody, Sia, Paloma Faith and more. This song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
