Her head voice is Nora Jones but when she lifts she is Florence Welch. There's a theatric vibrato and a gentle pitch that just captivates.
It's hard to get much detail on Colour Of Rice. She's an optimist; she is deeply personal. She finds beauty in places others might miss. She just filmed a gorgeous video in Switzerland and her songwriting reminds me of Lucinda Williams. This is the voice you want singing you to sleep.
