With his new track Try Again Andy Shauf builds a compelling story, with a wry sense of narrative, out of characters that are filled with personality and humor. Few artists are storytellers as deft and disarmingly observational as Andy Shauf.

His last full-length release The Party earned a spot on the Polaris Music Prize 2016 shortlist and snagged Shauf an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, as well as glowing accolades from NPR, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and more. Starting with more than 50 songs recorded over the course of more than a year, Shauf trimmed the list of tracks down to a single album's worth of material. This process is what yielded a release early next year for Shauf's next full-length, The Neon Skyline, which is out January 24th on Anti- Records. Shauf combines an artistic generosity and sense of kindness with a folk-leaning indie-pop production that is perfect for fans of Grammy-nominated Andrew Bird.

Andy Shauf is based in Toronto, and was raised in Saskatchewan.
