Alice Gray studied fine arts her entire life, but it wasn’t until her final year of college that she decided to invest in her musical interests aggressively. Now, after moving from San Diego to Los Angeles, she explores the vulnerable space of social comparisons and makes a bold statement about the redemptive power of self-acceptance.

In a sense, Gray emotes for every fresh face in a crowd of usuals, for every soul that harnesses the power of discovery and submits to the whim of cosmic acceptance. Take Me to the Water, the latest from Alice Gray, is a melodic mid-tempo pop gem that joins a groovy backbeat with a sense of release from the constraints of personal analysis, and creates a safe space for the heart to be free.
