With a fun groove and and a visual exploration of the contrast between light and darkness, Aja9 is excited to share the music video for her new track Limbo. The electro-pop single from this Toronto native serves as a representation of her struggle to navigate the awkward balance between youth and adulthood.

The music video for Limbo was directed by Justin Pagano, and extends the metaphor of reaching towards the future into the vulnerable space of personal revelation, as the flash of color that is youth informs the slow-burn of young adulthood. Aja9 laughs at herself, and unravels the universal tension that confounds this process of self-actualization. We are along for the ride, as companion to the transitional moments that guide us from innocence, through a spiritual catharsis, and on to the meaty heart of life.

From the artist:

When I wrote Limbo I was writing about feeling as if sometimes I'm too young for certain things and sometimes I'm too old. I often feel like I'm in limbo and trying to find what is right for me at this moment in my life.

This song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
