XamVolo is a mystery to me. For such a young body, that voice feels as old as the hills. Just listen; we'll talk after.
I think the jazz combo organ, the atmospheric sounds, the Gershwin flavor, all come together to present quite an affect that is both original and feels pre-destined. It's not Stevie Wonder and it's not exactly D'Angelo either. It's velvet, it's cigar smoke, it's light and shadow.
XamVolo is based in Liverpool and is currently on tour across the UK supporting Paloma Faith.
