"Manipulator" is the latest single from The Holy Knives, a music project from Kody and Kyle Valentine, two brothers raised in New Orleans that are now living in Los Angeles. With a solid production assist from Jamie Hince of The Kills, the aesthetic is elevated and matches a seething industrial darkness with some big electro pop hooks. The result is a midtempo banger that feels like a great match for any sleight-of-hand or grifting dynamics from a gritty crime drama on Netflix or HBO. It's got a nice mix of groove and gravitas, and we wish these brothers nothing but success with their new EP "I Don’t Wanna Win."
