Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Sea Glass is set to release his debut EP "Advanced Youth" later this year. "Lemon Lime Watermelon" is the third single, and the first of two tracks on the EP featuring Sky Adler.

Made lovingly from a basement in the tree-lined neighborhood of Fort Greene during the worldwide quarantine of 2020, the music for this track was crafted from time spent hashing out the ukulele line. Originally conceived in a dream, Sea Glass took time to peel back the layers and arrive at a fresh and tropical aesthetic. The rest of the track unfolded naturally from that premise.

After perfecting the sound design and the drum tones, Sea Glass reached out to Sky who agreed to write a top line for it. The result is a laid-back pop song with happy energy and a carefree vibe that exploits layers of complex harmony. The ukulele adds a playful tone while the mix of pop flavor with hip hop underpinnings delivers an effortless groove and a creative lyrical fantasy.
