With a goal of taking a light-hearted approach to serious topics, PuffHost is made up of two 90’s kids that struggle with their millennialism. Their latest track "20 Somethings" is a shout-out to all the young Americans out there who are broke, lonely, and spending all their money on avocado toast.

It's hard to navigate life as a 20-something, and these two M.C.'s want to celebrate that struggle with this jam, in the hope that it can be an anthem for those who have stress and anxiety from trying to live up to unrealistic expectations. This track is about embracing trial-and-error and dealing with a fear of failure, while also finding a lighter side in the struggle to survive the modern age of full-contact capitalism. PuffHost, with their latest single "20 Somethings" makes a statement about what success looks like now, and how finding happiness has a lot to do with balancing the banal force of materialistic corporatism against a yearning for spiritual generosity. This hip-hop quip delivers a party-vibe, a sweet beat, and a serious message about the importance of having a sense of humor.

I don't have a lot of money, only common sense
I don't get a lot of action, only consequence

About the toast meme: a few years ago Australian millionaire-developer Tim Gurner, who sat for an interview with 60 Minutes Australia in the summer of 2017, said this regarding the inability of young buyers in Australia to get into the current housing market: "When I was trying to buy my first home, I wasn’t buying smashed avocados for $19 and four coffees at $4 each." That quickly became a flashpoint for young adults to weigh in, who correctly pointed out that even after removing the budget for expensive toast, buying a home was still completely unaffordable for your average millennial - from Sydney, to Vancouver, to Los Angeles.

Ok boomer.
