Nashville-based singer, songwriter, artist and producer, Phillip LaRue, pays homage to the beauty around him with moving lyricism, fragile instrumentation and lush production. On his new EP, Thank You June [Nettwerk], he discusses relationships with his wife and sister on 5 heartfelt tracks.

Truthfully this song was inspired by a deep conversation I had with friends on my back porch. After chatting with them, I kept hearing the phrase ‘burn the ships,’ and I thought about my love, Lisa. Despite my past, despite the pain of loss in both of our lives we somehow met each other randomly. It wasn't random, though, and I believe God knew what he was doing in the background of our stories.

LaRue has been sharing his perspective on life as an artist and songwriter with his fans for more than a decade now, and his music has been featured on a number of popular television shows like Vampire Diaries and Grey's Anatomy to name just a few. Now, he sets the stage for his forth coming album with a pair of EPs: September 2022’s It All and its sister EP, Thank You June, out March 2023.
