A new one from our friends at Oh Boy Records, Palmyra captures the collective spirit of three Virginia natives, Manoa (he/him), Teddy (he/him), and Sasha (they/them). This up-and-coming roots trio explores the fusion of traditional folk instruments, three-part harmonies, and foot percussion, leaving a presence that feels bigger than just a three-piece band should be able to muster. The intimate vocal arrangements, the smooth mid-tempo grooves, and a commitment to the folk traditions of harmony and storytelling, all work together with grace.

Written about a road trip through the desert in 2020, "Arizona" captures that feeling of escaping and never wanting to turn back. With a sizzling mix that blends classic roots elements of acoustic guitar, B3, and Wurlitzer piano, we are embarked on that hidden road to happiness, if only for a few minutes.
