Billed as "warm, autumnal folk," I'm inclined to agree: "Quite Simple" is the latest from New York City's Olivia Reid. In a world that sometimes feels like it's on overdrive, all the time, this lively and exuberant track offers a tuneful respite from the overstressed machinations of society at large. This mix of chamber pop and classic folk explores a friendly conversation with an older man whose life is rich with adventure. Highly recommended for fans of Maggie Rogers & Big Thief.

"Quite Simple" is really just a parable about what can happen to us when we forget what we are looking for. And why it's important to know.
