Los Angeles based producer-artist duo NEO NOIR and AIMEE announce the release of their song "Jezebel" on label Music Noir, which was written about the heart-pains of dating in Hollywood, and the emotional hardship that can occur at the hands of narcissists and fame-chasers. "Jezebel" is an autobiographical narrative, drenched in indie-pop sugar and NEO NOIR's signature razor-sharp production sense.

Inspired from a biblical reference, "Jezebel" explores the bitterness of rejection, and finds faith in the idea that everything happens for a reason. After the disappointment of a love gone bad, we are given the gift of self-reflection. You might recognize AIMEE from her work with Paper Jackets, and with an effortless lead vocal performance on this track, she perfectly encapsulates the frustration and hard-won catharsis that can come from having your heart broken. AIMEE makes a stunning debut as a solo artist, as she forges a determined path through the darkness of rejection to find a higher state of self-love.

God forgives and I'll forget he ever woke up in my bed
It's time to delete the text
And stop confusing love and sex
Next time I'll have more self-respect
No regrets
