"You Say This I Say That" is the final single to be released from the four-song EP Spilt from Matt Storm, mixed by Grammy-award winning Ben Kane. Based in Vancouver BC since 2016, Matt has had the grace and good fortune to work behind the scenes with a handful of Juno-nominated artists. With a listenership & fanbase that is decidedly on the rise, Matt recently worked with two of Vancouver's finest musicians: Trent Otter (drums) and Luke Deville (bass), to deliver four new tracks that represent the soul and future of Matt-as-songwriter. Meshing alt-soul and psych rock, this track unfolds like a long and lazy dirt road, fusing a warm and ever-present Wurlitzer with a groove that progresses from Cajon to full kit, exploding in a cloud of soul & fusion fireworks.

But the best part is the powerful drum and bass drop.
