The electric guitar notes range from a clear bell tone to a spiraling tremolo, and the sparse vocal harmony lends a sense of loneliness to the mix. The open space, and a lazy quarter note pulse, leave the only full notes to a deeply-effected electric piano, so that the whole mix seems to float above the misty foundation of reverb and tremolo.

Annie pays homage to the untold stories of young love in the early 20th century, and the complications from that invisible history. It is wistful look at the power of intention, and of self-revelation. This slow-paced duet features Stockholm songwriter and producer Zebastian Swartz.

Hello Heartland is a Swedish alt-country band. This song is featured on our Indie Rock - Americana playlist.
