HaydenGoSeek is originally from New Zealand, but now calls Australia home. He's getting ready to release a debut album, which should be coming soon. Latest track "Handmade" is a song that was written after being stuck in a job renovating a warehouse for months on end – which found his inner songwriter craving a connection to nature, and the ability to 'let it play.' This kind of introspective, roots-driven singer-songwriter-with-hints-of-chamber-pop might be one of my favorite sub-genres. I get hints of Thin Lear, Andy Shauf, and even some Ziggy Alberts, with a full production arc & arrangement that delivers a satisfying emotional journey, while also hinting at many potential moments of self-reflection. Highly recommended.

Also, I'm always willing to assign extra points to someone who poses with their dog in a promo photo–it's a great look.
