Fairground Saints - Somewhere Down The Line

The road keeps something for us all. We just have to go get it.

It’s a traveling song with some gorgeous Weissenborn and plenty of string-band accompaniment - acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, and there’s probably a mandolin in there somewhere. It checks all the boxes for a big Country sound: thick harmony, binary dynamics, and a wistful look in the eye.

It goes by so fast, you might have to press replay; don’t be shy. This is approachable, something-for-everybody feel-good music of the Southern persuasion. It’s a universal salve for the pox of being in a rut: the road keeps something for us all. We just have to go get it.

Fairground Saints are a Country-Americana band paving the way between Laurel Canyon and Music City. This song is featured on our Country playlist.
