Esmé Patterson returns with her first new music in almost four years, with the synth-laden dream-pop track 'Light In Your Window.' This song marks her first for BMG and was recorded with fellow Coloradans Tennis in their garage in Denver.

Patterson has progressed beyond the folk influences on her earlier recordings, which has spawned a refreshingly raw and unfettered sound. With this track, Patterson leans even further into dream pop, R&B and indie rock. 'Light In Your Window' explores the complexity of a desire to feel connected to something that no longer exists, and makes peace with the slow rhythm of emotional recovery. Esmé describes this beautifully thoughtful track as 'a song about longing for the end of longing.'

This song is featured on our Rainy Day playlist.
