Da Plazz - Take Me High

Da Plazz was born in mid-2024 as a collaboration between two EDM creatives: ProjectP / Darren Rook and Plasma Baby / Marie-Louise Anastas, who had been incubating songs since 2021.
Darren was raised on classical piano, while later teaching himself guitar, then synthesizer, and the art of recording and production. Plasma Baby writes enigmatic lyrics for euphoric electronic music, inspired by Sofi Tukker, Fontaines D.C, and Blur. From the album "Get Hooked," "Take Me High" is that rare mix of fast-paced instrumental grooves with a sexy, laid-back vocal, as Da Plazz collaborates with a different vocalist to capture the unique mood of each song. Lead vocals in this case provided by Kate McGill (UK). She captures the mood of this song with her ethereal voice and understated elegance.
With a compelling combination of acoustic guitar, syncopated rhythm, and waves of electronic embellishment, this low-key banger offers a taste of what we can expect in the future from this talented duo.
