Pop singer-songwriter Conan Gray unveils new song "Wish You Were Sober" in advance of his anxiously-awaited full-length debut, "Kid Krow," which is in stores and digital retailers now via Republic Records. Gray is currently one of YouTube Music’s Artists on the Rise, which is an emerging artist program that champions breaking talent and rising stars. As part of the campaign, Gray is set to collaborate with YouTube Music on a unique content series that will live on his Official Artist Channel and invites fans to get to know Conan on a deeper level.

As the story goes, Conan Gray found a way out of his tiny Texas hometown by building his own musical world from nothing more than GarageBand and a cheap microphone taped to a lamp. In a few short years, on the back of fan-favorite singles like "Crush Culture," "Idle Town," and "Generation Why," Gray racked up more than 600 million streams with his signature mix of velvet-smooth vocals and sticky electronic hooks. His bedroom-pop hits have won praise from publications like Vogue, The FADER, MTV, Billboard, Seventeen, and OnesToWatch, just to name a few. He also counts Billie Eilish and Halsey as ardent fans. "Kid Krow," which is out now, is already one of the hottest debut releases this year. "Wish You Were Sober" explores the modern party scene and delivers a wise message of restraint: true connection is always better when we remember the details. Conan Gray combines a natural instinct for pop melody with razor-sharp lyrical poise, and celebrates the fact that we don't need to be faded to have a good time.

Nineteen but you act twenty-five now
Knees weak, but you talk pretty proud, wow
Ripped jeans and a cup that you just downed
Take me where the music ain't too loud
