CHAII was inspired to create the "Lightswitch" trilogy after learning more about Iran’s Islamic Revolution of 1979, which resulted in countless musicians, actors, and visual artists relocating to California after their work was banned. California remains the biggest Persian music community outside of Iran over forty years later.

CHAII comments: "I feel a strong connection to it as I’m from the new generation of Iranian immigrants that are doing music outside of Iran. When I initially travelled to Los Angeles to visit family I felt like I was in the perfect blend of Western and Persian cultural influences. Coming from New Zealand, where there’s a very small Persian community that you barely see or hear from, it was a total shock."

CHAII's vibe fuses elements of hip-hop and house with Persian music, and delivers a bold statement about the nexus between personal style, innovation, and the urge to dance. The video for this edgy track showcases the different sides of Los Angeles: from the 'humble' neighborhoods, to the Hollywood Hills and Venice Beach. CHAII wanted to bike through all the different areas as a symbol of unity.

It's ok then your style always a bit dated
My style won't, it's still date in
Vibes on, you're getting people faded
