Bridget Rian grew up on Long Island, NY and began writing songs at the age of 11 after her mother gifted a guitar for her 10th birthday. Both of her parents had an eclectic taste in music, which gave her a wide exposure to different musical styles. When Rian got to high school, her choir teacher pulled her aside to introduce her to a few powerful female singer-songwriters, and that was when her addiction to songwriting really began to develop.

The latest preview from her new EP "Talking to Ghosts" is a folk-tinged pop song called "Trailer Park Cemetery." Produced by Paul Moak (Caitlyn Smith, Carolina Story, Liz Longley) and recorded at The Smoakstack in Nashville, Rian’s painfully pure timbre is on full display, while the lush sounds of lap steel blend with a strong backbone of acoustic guitar to offer a delicate foundation for her lyrical revelry.
