Jeremy Raskin is a music producer and graphic designer based in Los Angeles, California, releasing music and art under his moniker Vijunns. His self-titled debut combines rich analog synths with ambient electronic beats and a melodic sense of tranquility.

His latest single "Overlay" joins a heartbeat kick drum with thick waves of sonic color, and offers a journey into the alternate universe of minimal electronic music that is reminiscent of Past is Prologue-era Tycho. The accompanying music video plays with the concept of urban decay, and features Southern California performance artist Cena Stardust exploring the eerie landscapes of Bombay Beach. By examining the contrast between light and shadow, mysterious and familiar, "Overlay" presents a metaphor for the vast range of human emotion, wherein the fusion of multiple themes results in a sort of collective darkness.

Vijunns named this track after the Photoshop blending tool. This song is featured on our Ambient playlist.
