Something about the delay on the guitar, the combo organ, the piano with heavy reverb, and the stuttered arrangement brings out the natural power of melody. Here, a few elements stand out, notably a just slightly dirty electric slide guitar at the halfway mark, and a really jagged-sounding extra clean delay track with a stereo slap-back.

The real hero on Ain't it Always, the new single from Sam Weber, is the vibe itself: the faint falsetto, the backbeat, and the slight barbershop sound to the vocal harmonies. I found this song to be full of surprises in the best possible way. And that guitar-work is fantastic.
