This is a country style duet with Charlotte Sometimes of Maddonatron (now known as LACES). It's a beautiful melody built on top of a Nick Drake style of acoustic fingerpicking. True to country form, the lyrics are a retrospective commentary on a day in the life of two intertwined lovers.

The duet brings an element of "he said, she said", and seeds that blossom of gossip and confrontational points-of-view. It's narrative of tough love, and tougher letting go.
